Confidentiality Agreement – I understand that, while I am working at FD1, I may have access to personal information collected from customers, volunteers or for administrative purposes. I understand that this information is subject to the provisions of the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act (1998). I undertake not to knowingly access any personal information unless such information is essential for me to properly and efficiently perform my duties or fulfil my role at FD1. I undertake strictly to preserve the confidentiality of this information and I understand that a breach of this undertaking may result in my dismissal as a volunteer. I acknowledge my statutory duty under section 22 of the Health Administration Act 1982, in relation to the disclosure of information and under the terms of the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act. In order to fulfil this undertaking, I will not divulge any identifying, personal or clinical information regarding individual persons, except as authorised by FD1, or in compliance with relevant legislation. I further undertake to inform my supervisor immediately if I become aware of any breach of privacy or security relating to the information which I access in the course of my duties

Child Protection Code of Conduct – While engaged by FD1, I agree that, while implementing Foundation 1 activities, I will: • Disclose to the FD1 managers any criminal conviction or accusation of prior child protection breaches whilst employed or associated with FD1 or at any time in my past. • Consent to FD1 seeking or obtaining any information considered relevant to my background and for this purpose I consent to any organisation or individual providing any information requested. • Treat children with respect regardless of ethnic and social origin. • Not use language or behaviour towards children that is inappropriate, harassing, abusive, sexually provocative, demeaning or culturally inappropriate. • Not engage children under the age of 18 in any form of sexual intercourse or sexual activity, including paying for sexual services or acts. • Ensure that another adult is present when working (including counselling) within the proximity of children. • Not misuse any digital device and/or social media, exploit, harass children and/or access child exploitation material through any medium. • Not use physical punishment on children. • Comply with all relevant Australian and local legislation, including labour laws in relation child labour. • Immediately report to managers concerns or allegations of child exploitation, abuse and policy noncompliance in accordance with appropriate procedures.

Foundation 1 Code of Conduct – As a volunteer I will: • Accept the direction of the FD1 Management. • Present a warm, non-judgmental welcome to all who come into FD1. • Treat all people equally, regardless of social standing or ethnicity. • Be trustworthy in maintaining confidentiality in all circumstances. • Observe all policies and procedures set down in the FD1 Policy Manuals. • Attend all information meetings as requested. • Be punctual on rostered days and carry out all tasks conscientiously. • Acknowledge that physical or verbal abuse is unacceptable under any circumstances. • Not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol prior to or during my shift or bring alcohol or illegal substances to the workplace. • Refrain from using inappropriate language. • Follow FD1 grievance procedures to resolve any conflict by contacting my manger. • Observe the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations, taking reasonable care to protect my own and other's health and safety.
